Saraya Aqaba Waterpark is excited to host the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) once again in 2025! It’s an opportunity to help our community build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching swimming to children. 

Join a global movement dedicated to saving lives through water safety and swim education.

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 09:30 AM, you are invited to join tens of thousands of children and parents at hundreds of venues around the world -on the same day, at the same time- making a huge splash to spread one powerful message:"SWIMMING LESSONS SAVE LIVES.”

About WLSL:
The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) is a global drowning prevention event launched by the World Waterpark Association in 2010. The program is supported by the leading aquatics and safety organizations and takes place at all types of aquatic facilities, from major waterparks to small community pools and swim schools.

About Saraya Aqaba Waterpark:

Saraya Aqaba Waterpark is Jordan’s largest waterpark and the most prestigious family destination in the Kingdom. With over 25 rides, slides, and aquatic experiences, in addition to family-friendly dining options, the park delivers unforgettable adventures under the sun.

Who can participate:

This event is open to children ages 5–14 years, and all swim levels are welcome:
✔️ Non-swimmers
✔️ Beginners
✔️ Swimmers

Participants will be divided into groups of ten, each led by a certified swimming instructor and lifeguard.
